About Kroll

Kroll, the world's leading risk consulting company, provides a wide range of investigative, intelligence, financial, security and technology services through offices in more than 65 cities in over 25 countries. Kroll is a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE: MMC), the global professional services firm.

The Background Screening division of Kroll, which acquired InfoLink Screening Services in March 2006, provides organizations worldwide with comprehensive screening services including pre-employment background checks, employee drug testing, physical exams, Form I-9 solutions, and more.

Thousands of organizations all over the world, from small businesses to Fortune 500's, rely on Kroll. The accurate, compliant, and timely information we supply our clients helps them make informed decisions and mitigate risks in critical areas such as employment, vendor selection, identity theft prevention and assistance, investment placement, and institutional admissions. From traditional background checks to specialized searches, Kroll’s products and services can be tailored to meet the needs of any organization.

Kroll's industry-leading expertise, investment in cutting-edge technology, and commitment to providing exceptional client service, fast turnaround time, legal compliance and accurate reporting is why more than half of the companies that begin using Kroll each year are referrals.

Kroll's web-based service enables clients to submit search requests, view work in progress, view completed reports, print reports, and archive reports over our secure website. Archived background checks, drug tests and physical exam reports are available at the click of a button. In addition, clients have access to management reports, can download new forms, or receive information designed only for clients. Kroll prides itself on providing the fastest turnaround time in the industry as clients have access to "work in progress" so they do not have to wait for an entire report to be completed to make hiring decisions. Reports are provided generally within 24 to 72 hours, and some services are completed immediately.

Kroll is a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). As such, Kroll provides employee background checks on job applicants and current employees. Kroll provides clients with court by court searches of criminal records nationwide providing up to date criminal activity, motor vehicle reports, social security traces, employment credit reports, workers' compensation filings, employment, education, and professional license verifications, reference interviews, and much more. Kroll also offers employee drug and alcohol testing, employment physicals, and Form I-9 services.

Kroll is a founding member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and the Association of Consumer Reporting Agencies (ACRA) and Kroll senior vice president and former president of InfoLink Screening Services, Barry Nadell, is co-director of NAPBS and serves as the Board of Directors' Liaison to the Governmental Affairs Committee.
