InfoLink Screening Services, Inc. Names Phillip A. Smith as Chief Executive Officer

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 24, 2004-- Experienced Background Screening and Corporate Investigations Executive Named CEO at Well-Respected Employment Screening Firm

InfoLink Screening Services, Inc., a nationwide provider of employment background checks, drug testing and physical exams, today announced that Phillip A. Smith has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Smith brings more than 30 years of experience in the background screening and investigations industry. Mr. Smith replaces InfoLink Co-Founder and CEO, Leslie Jean Nadell, who will continue to serve the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Before joining InfoLink, Mr. Smith was responsible for the management of Wackenhut Corporation's National Research Center, including its background screening and compliance services divisions. Prior to Wackenhut, Mr. Smith served as Vice President for ChoicePoint Services at Pinkerton Services Group, where he managed the operations of its employment screening and verification business. Mr. Smith was also a member of Pinkerton's executive team at the time of its acquisition by ChoicePoint in 2001.

Mr. Smith's expertise includes background investigations, information reporting, claims investigations and management, regulatory compliance and litigation support. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University, a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, the Senior Claims Law Associate designation, and a Private Investigator license.
